It has developed a unique open content model to address the challenges of delivering high quality programs based professional learning in school for teachers in Africa.
HEAT is another program launched in early 2011 by The Open University with a bold ambition - to reach and help train 250,000 health workers front line throughout sub-Saharan Africa 2016 by working closely with governments African NGOs and funding institutions, We believe that heat will transform access to health care in the region.
